The film is releasing on 20 June 2025, meanwhile, Aamir Khan has talked about his personal life. Superstar has told that he had married Reena Dutta in a hurry, which was a big mistake in his life.
On the podcast of Raj Shamani, Aamir Khan was asked what is his biggest mistake in life. On this, the superstar said- ‘I have made a lot of mistakes, not one. But I feel that man, which I am today because of those mistakes, I am not only because of my success but also because of my mistakes.
Aamir married as soon as 21 years old
Aamir Khan further said- ‘Right now I say a simple thing, Reena and I married very quickly. We were 21 years old, she was 18-19 years old. Rather, the leagley was the first day, it is possible for me to give a month’s notice after being 21 years old to marry. So 30 days go there. So on March 14, when I was 21 years old, after that one month notice took place, it becomes 14 April. But Saturday-Sande was coming. There was something that was the first day which Reena and my wedding was Leagley Posable was 18 April.
‘You do not understand many things in the excitement of youth’
The superstar further said- ‘We got married on 18 April and we knew each other for only four months before and that in four months, we spent very little time with each other. We had a lot of love in our mind, for each other, there was a lot of love, that’s why we also got married. But when I see today, I feel that you should take care of the important steps like marriage. At that time, you do not understand many things in the excitement of youth. But later you realize.
‘Such a big step in a hurry probably should not be taken’
Aamir Khan said- ‘However, my life with Reena is very good. So you do not make meaning from it that Reena was wrong. I do not mean this at all. Reena is an amazing person and we grew up together in a way, because we were so young when we got married. Reena and I respect each other a lot and we have a lot of love in our hearts for each other. But I feel that no one should not take such a big step in such a hurry at such a young age.
Junaid and Ayra told ‘big gift’
The actor again said- ‘When I see today, it is an example that I probably do not do that, but if I do not do that, then today I would not have been sitting in front of you. That is why I cannot accept him again. I cannot even accept because I have the biggest gifts of me, Junaid and Aira, I have met that marriage.
‘You took such a big decision so soon’
Aamir Khan says- ‘I got to spend 16 years with Reena. All these things are not mistakes. These are good things. So it is difficult.
