Abbas Ansari Hate Speech Case: Abbas Ansari, son of mafia Mukhtar Ansari and Subhaspa MLA from Mau Sadar, has been convicted in the Hate Speech case. CJM court decision challenged in High Court
After the announcement of the sentence in the court, Abbas Ansari has decided that he will knock the doors of the High Court against the decision of the CJM court of Mau. Mukhtar Ansari’s son and Sadar MLA from Mau, Abbas Ansari, alleges that his side was not fully heard. So now he will go to the High Court with a complaint.
Abbas Ansari’s membership will remain left
Before the announcement of the sentence, it was being speculated that the deadline of the sentence could affect Abbas Ansari’s legislature. Questions were arising whether the assembly membership of Subhaspa MLA Abbas Ansari would be canceled? However, it has now become clear that Abbas Ansari’s assembly membership is safe. Because if Abbas Ansari had been sentenced to more than two years, he would have to leave the chair of his assembly. However, Mau’s CJM court sentenced him to two years.
What is the case of Hate Speech?
During the 2022 assembly elections in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, Subhaspa MLA Abbas Ansari had said during addressing the public meeting that, after the formation of the government, he will see the officer. After which there were streams of criminal intimidation on Abbas Ansari, misuse of election rights, obstructing government work, threatening government employee, spreading disharmony on the basis of religion and conspiracy.
