Abbas Ansari News: Former MLA from Allahabad High Court, Abbas Ansari, has received a big setback in the Hate Speech case. The court has dismissed his petition. The single bench of Justice Samiti Gopal refused to intervene, citing a two -year sentence pronounced by the trial court. The High Court directed Abbas Ansari to raise the issue related to the validity of the CD in the appeal filed in the sessions court.

Abbas Ansari challenged the audio CD of Hate Speech and its forensic report presented in Mau’s MP-MLA court. He had alleged that his speech was distorted. The case is during the 2022 assembly elections, when Abbas Ansari openly threatened the administrative officials in an election public meeting on March 3.

Abbas Ansari sentenced to two years by CJM court

After this, an FIR was registered against him in Mau Kotwali on 4 March. This FIR was recorded on the Tahrir of Daroga Gangaram Bind. The Election Commission also took action by taking this statement seriously. In this case, the CJM court had sentenced Abbas Ansari to two years and a fine of three thousand rupees on 31 May 2024. Now after not getting relief from the High Court, the legal difficulties of Abbas Ansari have increased further.

What was the Hate Speech case

Please tell that Abbas Ansari was a MLA from Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) from Mau Sadar. He is the son of gangster -turned -politician Mukhtar Ansari, who has been convicted in the 2022 HAT speech case. He allegedly threatened the Mau administration during an election rally at Paharpur Maidan in Mau on 3 March 2022. He had said, after the election, there will be accounts and the officials will be taught a lesson.
