In the final played at Dubai International Stadium, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Sahibzada Farhan (57 runs, 38 balls) and Fakhar Zaman (46 runs, 35 balls) made a brilliant start and took Pakistan to a strong score, but India’s spinners Kuldeep Yadav (4/30) and Varun Chakraborty (2/30) bowled tremendously in mid -overs and all out for 146 runs. Jasprit Bumrah also took 2 wickets.
India started very poor and the team reached 20/3, but Tilak Verma (69 not out, 53 balls) and Sanju Samson (24 runs, 21 balls) together formed an important partnership.
