A grand event of Southern Rising Summit 2025 is being organized by ABP Network today in Chennai. In this special program that runs throughout the day, many well-known personalities from politics, education, technology, art and culture are sharing their views on one platform. The purpose of the summit is to openly discuss the development of South India, new policies, social issues and challenges of the future.
On the same platform, Tamil Nadu’s School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi has given big statements regarding the state’s education policy, language issues and new technology. He said that Chief Minister Stalin is very serious about education and such steps are being taken in the state which will completely change education in the coming times.
Minister Anbil Mahesh said in his address that the government’s thinking is not limited only to economic development, but building a better society is also its biggest goal. He said that our morality is not just economic. Our aim is to create a society that is educated, aware and can face new challenges.
Said this about language
In the summit he also expressed his clear and strong opinion regarding language. He said we welcome all languages. Every language has its own pride, but when any language is imposed, then only we oppose it.

The minister further said that the Tamil Nadu government has started a big program called TN SPARK to take technology to new heights in government schools. Under this program, children are being taught artificial intelligence, robotics, coding and digital tools. He said that now children of government schools are also learning modern technology. He told that TN SPARK is connecting children with the digital world and the method of education in schools is changing rapidly.
