At the ABP Southern Rising Summit 2025, ABP Network Director Dhruba Mukherjee praised ABP’s journey and success in South India. He said that ABP was started in 1922 and its journey in South India started about 5 years ago. During this period, digital news platforms like ABP Nadu and ABP Desam were launched.
Dhruba Mukherjee said, we started our journey in 1922. Our journey in South India started about 5 years ago. We launched ABP Nadu and ABP Desam and the love, appreciation and encouragement we have received from the southern audience in these five years has overwhelmed us. He also said that the cultural diversity, language and rich social consciousness of South India is giving a new direction to the journalism of ABP Network.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin inaugurated
The conference was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin by lighting the lamp. The program has been organized in Chennai, in which many prominent personalities of political, social and cinema world participated. School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, actress Malavika Mohanan and other eminent guests were present in the program.
