Abu azmi on pandharpur wari palki yatra 2025: Maharashtra Samajwadi Party President and MLA Abu Azmi has once again come into the limelight due to his controversial statement. He has created a new political storm by making a controversial statement about the famous ‘Wari Yatra’ of Maharashtra. During the Palkhi Yatra of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram in Pandharpur, he said that due to this journey, the roads get jammed, which causes problems for the common people.
Abu Azmi raised the question that Muslims do not express any objection to the festivals of Hindus, but when Muslims offer prayers, complaints are made. Talking to the media, he said, “Namaz cannot be offered outside the mosque, it is opposed. But, we always walk shoulder to shoulder with Hindu brothers.”
He said, “Till date no Muslim has complained that the path is closed due to Hindu festivals. But, when Namaz is offered in the mosque, the Chief Minister of UP says that if the Namaz is offered outside, the passport and driving licenses will be canceled.”
Traffic jams occur due to Wari- Abu Azmi
In this statement, Abu Azmi also alleged that Muslims do not get a place easily for public land or event. He further said, “Today when I was coming to Solapur, I was told that the palk is going to come, the road will be blocked. Wari will get jammed due to the traffic jam, but we never opposed it. The land is not deliberately given to the Muslims.”
It is worth noting that the palan of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj is currently departing from the direction of Pune towards Pandharpur. In such a situation, this statement of Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi is likely to deepen political disputes.
