A major accident occurred on Monday (February 9) when the roof of an under-construction temple in Morena, Madhya Pradesh collapsed. In the incident, three girls who were receiving Prasad died after being buried under the debris, while five people including a husband and wife who were distributing Prasad were injured.
The villagers informed the police administration about the accident. The villagers pulled out the dead and injured from the debris and took everyone to Kailaras Hospital. Actually, this incident is being reported from Chamad Mata temple of Ehroli village under Kailaras police station area, where on Monday, on the day of Ashtami, Satish Gaur, a resident of Mungawali, had gone with his wife and daughter to worship in the temple of his home village Ehroli. During the distribution of Prasad in the temple, the under construction roof collapsed.
Treatment of 5 girls continues
The post-mortem of the three deceased girls has been done and the bodies have been handed over to the relatives. Two girls with general injuries are being treated in Kailaras Hospital. Five girls including seriously injured Satish and his wife have been brought to Morena for treatment.
Seriously injured referred to Gwalior
A seriously injured girl has been sent to Gwalior for better treatment. Regarding the incident, the administration has said that after investigation, strict action will be taken against the culprits. As soon as information about the accident was received, local MLA Pankaj Upadhyay reached the spot and requested the doctors for better treatment.
