3 children died on Wednesday (September 10) in Lodna in Jharia, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, while the condition of four people is said to be critical. The roof fell in the shabby building of BCCL to avoid rain, only when the roof fell.
Many people including children were buried in the rubble of the roof. All have been taken out by rescuing with the help of JCB machine and local people. The injured have been sent to SNMMCH Hospital in the accident.
Children went to the building to avoid rain
According to the information, some children were playing near the shabby quarters of BCCL at around six in the evening of Wednesday (September 10). Then suddenly there was heavy rain and some people including children hid in this building to hide when the entire roof fell on them.
Rescue was started with the help of locals and JCB. All were taken out, but by then three children had died on the spot. While the condition of the other four remains critical.
MLA reached the spot
Those who died in the accident have been identified as Sushma Kumari, Chirag and Gopal. The local BJP MLA of Jharia is reaching the hospital and taking care of the injured and asked the doctors for special treatment. He said that he is seeing the entire system of better treatment for the injured.
