A gas leak in an oil company on Sunday (September 7) in Pithampur near Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Three employees died in the accident. The incident took place between 6 to 6.30 pm in Sagar Oil Company located in Baghdun police station area.

According to the company’s manager Lokesh Gupta, the gas suddenly leaked during work in the plant. During this time a laborer fainted. Two other companions who came to save him were also hit by gas. The deceased have been identified as Sunil (35), Deepak (30) and Jagdish resident Indorama Pithampur.

Three laborers died

All three were immediately rushed to the hospital. The first nearby hospital and then MY Hospital Indore were referred, where doctors declared him dead. Baghdun TI Rajendra Soni said that the police reached the spot as soon as the accident was received and the workers were sent to the hospital. The family is also present in the factory.

Accident occurred during tank cleaning

Officials said that the incident took place in Shri Sagar Lubricant Oil located in Baghdun police station area of ​​Pithampur area, 45 km from the district headquarters. At the same time, Additional Superintendent of Police of Dhar Vijay Davar said that the three laborers were cleaning the chemical tank in the factory on Sunday night, when they were hit by poisonous gas.

When the company’s manager Lokesh Gupta was talked about in connection with this incident, he said that there was a sudden gas leakage while working in the plant, in which a laborer fainted. After this, two of his companions came to pick him up, due to which they also got hit by it. The matter is being investigated and necessary action will be taken after its report.
