Taking cognizance of the controversy related to a question asked in the semester 1 examination of BA (Hons) Social Work in Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, the university has formed an internal inquiry committee. This committee has also started its investigation. Also, the professor who prepared the paper has been suspended for the time being.
The university says that the professor who prepared the paper has been placed on suspension until the investigation committee completes its investigation and its report comes. The university says that the university has taken a strict stance on this entire matter. The suspended professor is holding the post of professor in the Social Work Department of Jamia University.
Let us tell you that the process of making question paper for Semester Exam is that in Jamia University, a committee is formed consisting of the faculty who teach in every department, in which the concerned faculty keeps the exam paper of their subject and after the approval of the committee, the papers are placed in front of the children in the examination. And this paper also came in front of the students in the exam room under the same process.
