Samajwadi Party leader and former MP ST Hasan has given a sharp reaction to the campaign to remove encroachment by the Municipal Corporation near Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque located at Turkman Gate in Delhi. People’s emotions and beliefs are linked to actions taken at religious places. How long will the man not protest?
SP leader ST Hasan said that harassment is being done in the name of encroachment. In such a situation, how long will the man not protest? We feel that very selective action is being taken. If the same action is taken everywhere then man gains patience. But, when there is no uniform action and especially when action is taken at religious places, then it is related to the feelings and beliefs of the people.
SP leader gave provocative statement
The former MP said that if such action is taken then there will definitely be a reaction to the action. How long will people tolerate? By when will mosques and madrassas be demolished? Will Jama Masjid also have no importance tomorrow? There is no written basis for his property either. If no map is available then that too will be illegal.
The SP leader said that if tomorrow they go to demolish Delhi’s Jama Masjid, then what hope do they have? They have crossed all limits in their hostility towards Muslims. If people come on the streets then the situation will go out of control. They should think very carefully and take action only as is appropriate.
He also gave a sharp reaction regarding the draft of SIR in UP and said that votes of opposition parties are being cut in Uttar Pradesh. Muslims have to give proof of loyalty. I am getting my vote checked to see if my vote has been cut off.
