Gautam adani: Companies of Adani Group on Thursday announced an increase of 29 percent in their total tax contribution. In FY 2024-25, companies involved in the Portfolio of Adani Group have paid a tax payment of Rs 74,945 crore, which is more than Rs 58,104 crore paid in FY 2023-24. This includes direct and indirect tax as well as payment for social security of employees.
Many works will be completed in such a huge amount
The Adani Group said, “The total contribution of its listed companies for FY 2025 (April 2024 to March 2025 Financial Year) has increased to Rs 74,945 crore, which was Rs 58,104 crore in FY 2023-24. It is equal to the expenses, which are used in millions of people to come and go. This amount is so high that the Olympic Games can also be hosted.
Direct and indirect contributed so much
The direct contribution of Rs 74,945 crore was Rs 28,720 crore, indirect contribution was Rs 45,407 crore and other contribution was Rs 818 crore. The Adani Group said that its listed companies have paid tax by Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), Adani Cement Limited (ACL), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) and Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL).
Further in the statement said, seven listed companies of Adani Group Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, Adani Green Energy Limited, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Energy Solutions Limited, Adani Power Limited, Adani Power Limited, Adani Total Gas Limited and Adani Total Gas Limited and Ambuja Cements Limited by Publishing Announa Statistics are included in this. This figure also includes tax paid by these three other listed companies, which are in the hands of these seven listed companies.
