A large-scale administrative reshuffle has been made in Uttarakhand on Sunday (12 October 2025), the government has transferred 44 IAS, IFS and PCS officers. The District Officer is also included in the transfer order issued by the government. In the order issued by the Joint Secretary, it has been said that all the officers should immediately assume their new posts.
According to the order issued by Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh Patial, IAS Dilip Jawalkar, IAS Dr. VVRC Purushothatam, IAS Chandresh Kumar Yadav have been transferred. Apart from this, IAS Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been made Food Commissioner, IAS Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has been made Secretary Rural Development, Rural Works Department. AFS Dr Parag Madhukar Dhakate has got the responsibility of Special Secretary Panchayati Raj Department. IAS Sonika has been made the Vice Chairman of Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority.
District Magistrates of 5 districts changed
Apart from this, IAS officer Lalit Mohan Rayal has been made the District Magistrate of Nainital. IAS Gaurav Kumar was made Chamoli District Magistrate. IAS Ashish Kumar Bhatgai has been made the District Magistrate of Pithoragarh. IAS Akanksha Conde was made the District Magistrate of Bageshwar. IAS Anshul Singh was made the District Magistrate of Almora.

Apart from this, in this transfer list, the responsibilities of IAS Vijay Kumar Jogdande, IAS Vandana (Director General Agriculture and Horticulture Department), IAS Vineet Kumar (Additional Secretary Labour), IAS Himanshu Khurana (Additional Secretary Forest), IAS Anuradha Pal, IAS Alok Kumar Pandey (Chief Executive Officer PMGSY), IAS Sandeep Tiwari (Director Social Welfare Haldwani) have been given.
At the same time, the names of IAS Ravneet Cheema (Additional Secretary, Reorganization Department), IAS Vinod Giri Goswami (Additional Secretary, Urban Development Department), IAS Prakash Chandra (Commissioner, Disabled Persons Uttarakhand), IAS Deputy Singh are included.
Apart from this, names of PCS officers are also included in the transfer list. According to the information, the names of PCS Girdhari Singh Rawat (Additional Secretary, Personnel and Vigilance Department), PCS Chandra Singh Dharamshaktu (Director Fisheries), Secretariat Service Mayawati Dhakriyal (Additional Secretary, Language Director-Uttarakhand Language Institute, Dehradun), Secretariat Service Santosh Badoni (Director, Secretariat Training Institute) are included.

At the same time, in this transfer list, PCS officer Lalit Narayan Mishra (Chief Development Officer Haridwar), PCS Ashok Kumar Pandey (Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Haridwar), PCS Sundar Lal Semwal (Director Horticulture), Chandra Singh Martolia (Divisional Food Controller Kumaon Division), PCS Jai Bharat Singh (Chief Development Officer Uttarkashi), PCS Raza Abbas, PCS Jaivardhan Sharma (Examination Controller Uttarakhand) Public Service Commission Haridwar), PCS Yukta Mishra (Additional District Officer Almora), is included.
