After the air strikes on Pakistan by the Afghan Army on Saturday (October 11) night, Union Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued a strong statement. Naqvi attacked Afghanistan in harsh words, saying that the country was playing a ‘game of fire and blood’ and also hinted at the involvement of rival countries like India behind it.

The Union Home Minister strongly condemned the incidents of unprovoked firing on Pakistani territories by Afghan forces. He said that the action taken by the Afghan army against the civilian population is a clear violation of international laws. Naqvi said that the brave forces of Pakistan have proved that any provocation will not be tolerated and prompt and effective action has been taken in response to it. He further said, “Pakistan Army is alert and Afghanistan is being answered with stone for every brick.”

Mohsin Naqvi gave this warning

Mohsin Naqvi said that Afghanistan will also be given such a reply as was given to India, so that it does not dare to look at Pakistan in a bad light. He assured the people of Pakistan that they stand with their armed forces ‘like an iron wall’.

Afghan army attacked 7 targets

It is noteworthy that the Afghan army attacked simultaneously in seven different areas on the Pakistan border on Saturday (October 11) at 9:23 pm Indian time. According to Afghan officials, this attack was carried out jointly by 210 Khalid bin Walid Brigade and 205 Al-Badr Corps. During this he used heavy weapons like artillery and tanks. The Afghan army claims that 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 5 were captured in this attack. Apart from this, they also seized several weapons and took the body of a dead soldier to their camp.

Pakistani army also retaliated

Pakistani army also retaliated. The firing and conflict between the two sides lasted for about three and a half hours and stopped at around 1 am when the Afghan Defense Ministry announced a ceasefire. Pakistani media has presented different figures of the loss of Afghan posts and dead and injured soldiers of the Pakistani side in this conflict.
