Afghanistan Retaliate Pakistan Air Strike: Afghanistan is responding to Pakistan’s air strike, Taliban security forces opened fire on Pakistan Army posts.

Taliban security forces on Saturday (October 11, 2025) launched armed retaliation against Pakistani troops along the shared border and accused Islamabad of carrying out airstrikes on their soil. AFP quoted the Afghan army as saying that in retaliation for Pakistani army airstrikes, Taliban border forces in the east opened heavy fire on Pakistani army posts in various border areas.

What did the Taliban spokesperson tell?

Taliban Defense Ministry spokesman Inayat Khowarajam told news agency AFP that the operation was successfully completed at midnight. He warned, “If the opposing side again violates Afghanistan’s border, our armed forces are ready to protect it and will give a decisive response.”

Pakistan has threatened Afghanistan regarding TTP

Islamabad has not confirmed its involvement in the attacks in Afghanistan, but has called on Kabul to stop harboring the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) on its soil. TTP has received war training in Afghanistan and claims to have the same ideology as the Afghan Taliban. Islamabad alleges that TTP has killed hundreds of its soldiers since 2021.

A senior official in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan, told AFP that Taliban forces started using weapons this evening. We opened fire at 4 places on the border, first with light and then with heavy artillery.

TTP’s campaign against Pak Army intensifies
In recent months, TTP militants have intensified their campaign of violence against Pakistani security forces in the hilly areas along the border.
