Virat Kohli In IND vs AUS: Virat Kohli has returned to international cricket after seven months. Virat was out on zero (0) in the first ODI against Australia. Kohli was living away from his country in London for a long time. Along with Virat, his wife Anushka Sharma and children Vamika and Akay also went to live in London. Virat has retired from Test and T20 International cricket, hence now he is rarely seen playing matches. During the conversation on Australia tour, Kohli has told about the reason for his going to London.
Why did Virat Kohli go to London?
Virat Kohli is a public figure, but he has been living abroad with his family for a long time. After Royal Challengers Bangalore won the title in IPL, Virat Kohli went to England with wife Anushka Sharma. In an interview given to commentators Adam Gilchrist and Ravi Shastri during the Australia tour, Virat Kohli said that after his retirement from Test cricket, he got a chance to spend time with his family and was able to spend time in his personal life as well. Virat also said that he had not been able to take a complete break while playing cricket in the last 15 years.
While talking on Fox Cricket, India’s star player Virat Kohli said, ‘Yes, it has been a long time since I retired from Test cricket. I am now able to connect with my life, which I was not able to do for a long time. It is very beautiful to spend time at home with my children and family, which I am enjoying a lot.
Virat Kohli did not take ‘break’
Virat Kohli further said that to be honest, whatever cricket I have played in the last 15 to 20 years, I have hardly taken any break. If you look at international cricket and IPL combined, I would have played more matches in the last 15 years than any other player. That’s why coming back now is very refreshing for me.
