Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty participated in the first season of Bigg Boss OTT hosted by Karan Johar. At the same time, the actress recently revealed in an interview that the show got her recognition, but her mental health also had an impact. Shamita told that after the end of the show, the stressful atmosphere inside Bigg Boss had disturbed her extremely, even she needed professional therapy for about a year.
The therapy took one year after coming out of Bigg Boss house
Actually, Shamita told during an interview to Pinkvilla, “But when I came out of Bigg Boss, I needed therapy for a year because I could not understand what was happening around me or how to react properly.” He further explained that the blurred line influenced him deeply between reality and fiction in the show. He further said, “My reality and fiction were mixed in each other, causing a lot of confusion in my mind.”
After coming out of Bigg Boss, there was aggressive
Shamita further revealed, “Look, I came out very upset. I was already struggling with the anxiety, so it made the situation worse for me even worse. I think when I came out, I had become a bit aggressive, and I think the house was doing this with me. Because I was fighting.”
Recalling the daily quarrels inside the house of Bigg Boss OTT, the actress said how even a minor debate was overshadowed. “Imagine, imagine, almost every morning people wake up and shout at each other for stupid things like toothpaste. It is not a good atmosphere. It is not a good atmosphere.
Shamita Shetty Ke Latest Projects
Despite facing challenges, Shamita is moving forward in her professional journey. He was last seen in The Tantent (2023) directed by Sushruta Jain, where he played an important role. Recently, Shamita appeared as a guest at The Great Indian Kapil show, hosted by Kapil Sharma, along with her sister, actress Shilpa Shetty, hosted on Netflix.
