Oman Squad For T20 World Cup 2026: After India and England, Oman has also announced a 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2026. Oman will be captained by Indian-origin player Jatinder Singh, while Vinayak Shukla has been appointed as the vice-captain. This will be the fourth time when the Oman team will be participating in the T20 World Cup. In the World Cup, Oman has been placed in Group B along with Australia, Ireland, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
Oman will play its first match in the T20 World Cup 2026 against Sri Lanka on 9 February. Let us tell you that India and Sri Lanka are going to host the World Cup together. This tournament will be played on a total of 8 grounds from 7 February to 8 March.
In this 20-team World Cup tournament, only two teams from each group will qualify for the next stage. The eight teams of the Super-8 stage will be divided into two groups.
