First of all, understand what is dyspareunia in vagina. This situation occurs when the woman feels pain, irritation or stretch during or immediately after physical relation. This pain can also be mild and so much so much that women are afraid to make relations.

There can be many reasons behind this problem, such as lack of lubrication, infection, hormonal changes or muscle stretch. But research suggests that the deficiency of vitamin D and vitamin E can also be a major cause of pain and swelling in the vagina.

Vitamin D deficiency affects the level of estrogen hormone in the body. Because of this, the tissue of vagina becomes thin and dry, which can cause pain while making relations or later. At the same time, due to deficiency of vitamin E, the muscles and cells of the vagina become weak, which increases swelling and discomfort.

Vitamin D deficiency can affect the sexual health of women. Research has found that women who have low vitamin D have more problems like pain (dyspareunia) and moisture deficiency during physical relations. This deficiency can be harmful to women’s breeding and sexual health.

Some medical research suggests that vitamin E may help women sexual health, especially in reducing pelvic pain and inflammation. Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant that helps in reducing tissue repair and inflammation. However, big and clinical trials have not yet been done.

To prevent this problem, women should pay special attention to their diet. Get vitamin D by spending time in the sun, as well as eat eggs, fish, milk and green vegetables. At the same time, it is beneficial for vitamin E to include nuts, seeds, sunflower oil and avocado diet.

If the pain remains after continuous relation, then please contact the doctor. Sometimes it can also be a sign of infection, hormonal problem or any other serious illness. This problem can be easily controlled by timely examination and treatment.
