Stock market today: The Indian stock market started trading on a boom on Tuesday’s trading day. The Nifty 50 today opened up to 24,691.65 with a gain of 57.05 or 0.023 per cent points, while the Sensex launched the trade at 80,541.77 with a gain of 176.83 or 0.22 per cent points. Shares of Titan, Asianpain, PowerGrid, Kotakband, Ultracemco saw a boom. At the same time, the shares of Eternal, Tatamotors, Techm saw a decline.
By the time the news was written at 9:25 pm, the BSE was trading at 80,571.44 by 188.97 or 0.24 percent, while the Nifty was at 4,714.25 points with 50 79.35 or 0.32 percent.
Monday market status
The Indian stock market was closed flat in Monday’s trading session. The Sensex was closed with a fall of 61.52 points or 0.08 per cent, 80,364.94 and Nifty 50 at a weakness of 24,634.90 at a weakness of 19.80 points or 0.08 per cent. The behavior of the stock market was mixed.
