RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has attacked Nitish government. Posting on Twitter on Saturday (January 31, 2026), Tejashwi Yadav said that instead of exposing the rape and murder of the NEET student, the Bihar government, by deciding to hand over the case to the CBI, has once again proved that the administrative structure of Bihar is corrupt, inefficient, inefficient and unprofessional which cannot solve even a rape and murder case. More than the police, this bluster is a failure of the corrupt and compromised system of the NDA government, whose ministers and chief ministers boast of catching criminals day and night.

He said, “In many cases like the Navruna case, the CBI could not catch the accused for 12-13 years and also closed the investigation. The same has to happen in this case. Where are those who shout ‘Jungle Raj-Jungle Raj’ in the elections? Who will take responsibility for the broken and corrupt law and order system of Bihar? Will there then be attempts by the government to divert attention through headline management?”

Even attempted character assassination: Manoj Jha

On the other hand, on the request of Bihar Chief Minister for CBI investigation in the case of death of NEET student, RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha said, “The situation is not good in Bihar today. Even character assassination was attempted in this incident. Now you are doing camouflage.”

Government’s intentions are clear: Vijay Kumar Sinha

Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “The government’s intentions are clear. We tried to conduct an honest investigation. The victim’s family was not satisfied, so a decision was taken to get the matter investigated by the CBI. The government is ensuring that complete justice is provided.”

Whereas MP Pappu Yadav has said that the right step has been taken late but this matter should be immediately investigated under the supervision of the High Court. Pappu Yadav writes in his ex-post, “In this case, the game has gone to disgusting level to save many big people, it is necessary to expose everyone in this! Who is behind Manish, DGP sir?”
