Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film ‘Thama’. This horror-comedy film of Maddock Films is going to be released in theaters on the occasion of Diwali. Before this, Ayushmann has got a big project in his hands. The actor is going to be seen in film maker Sooraj Barjatya’s romantic family drama film.
According to the report of Mid-Day, this film, to be made under the direction of Sooraj Barjatya, will be made under the banner of Rajshree Productions and Mahavir Jain Films. Munjya fame actress Sharvari Wagh will be seen in the lead role along with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film. Let us tell you that Sharvari (28) is 13 years younger than Ayushmann (41) and both will be seen romancing on screen for the first time. At present there is no update regarding the release date of the film.
When will the shooting of the film start?
Regarding Sooraj Barjatya’s film, it is written in the report – ‘The film will go on the floors from November 1. This is a romantic family entertainer film in which Sooraj Barjatya’s classic style will be seen. Sharvari is also in the lead role in the film along with Ayushmann. After Ukhta, both Sooraj Barjatya and Mahavir Jain wanted to work together again and this upcoming project seemed perfect for them.
About ‘Thama’
Let us tell you that Aditya Sarpotdar’s ‘Thama’ is going to be released in theaters on October 21. Rashmika Mandanna is in the lead role with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal are also a part of ‘Thama’.

Ayushmann also has the comedy film ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do’ in the pipeline, which is being directed by Mudassar Aziz. Sara Ali Khan, Vamika Gabbi and Rakulpreet Singh will also be seen in this film along with Ayushmann. ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do’ will hit the theaters on March 4, 2026, on the occasion of Holi.
