‘Handshek controversy’ is getting hot in India-Pakistan match. Now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended its International Cricket Director Usman Vahla. The Pakistan Cricket Board alleges that they have not taken any action on the controversy in India-Pakistan match. The Pakistani board on Monday accused Andy Picroft, the match referee of the India-Pakistan match, that he had asked Salman Aga not to join hands with Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav at the time of the toss.
Usman Vahla has been suspended by the Indian team not to join hands and formally respond to the conduct of match referee. The PCB had demanded Andy Picroft to be removed from the Asia Cup match referee penal list with immediate effect in a complaint filed by the PCB in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
Pakistan team kept waiting
Pakistan had set a target of 128 runs in front of Team India. The Indian team won with 7 wickets remaining. Captain Suryakumar ensured the victory of the Indian team by placing sixes. After this, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey went to the dressing room without joining hands with the Pakistan team.
The Pak team was waiting on the field, but the Indian players and staff members went to the dressing room and closed the door. It felt as if the Pakistan team was feeling embarrassed at this incident, perhaps that is why Pakistani captain Salman did not attend the Aga press conference.
