Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha protested against Shahjahan Urs inside the Taj Mahal in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh by protesting at the Archeology Department office and submitted a memorandum. The Archeology Department and Urs Committee is going to organize an event inside the Taj Mahal on 15, 16, 17 January 2026. Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha lodged a protest regarding this event and demonstrated at the Archeology Department office and submitted a memorandum.
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha opposed Shahjahan Urs inside Taj Mahal and expressed its views through demonstration. The organization raised questions regarding the Urs event and said that no religious event of any kind should be held inside the Taj Mahal.
All India Hindu Mahasabha raised the demand for not organizing the event
By making the form of Lord Shiva, the workers protested in the form of Lord Shiva so that the Archeology Officer should not organize Urs inside Tejomahalaya. During the demonstration it was repeatedly said that no event of any kind should be held inside the Taj Mahal. The demonstration of workers in the form of Lord Shiva remained a topic of discussion and a memorandum was submitted at the Archeology Department office.
Shiva Tandav will take place in Taj Mahal
District President of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, Meera Rathore announced that if Qawwali, Biryani and Chadar Poshi or any religious program takes place inside Tejomahalaya, then Lord Shiva Tandav will also be performed. Dhatura should also be offered, Belpatra leaves should also be offered, and 21 flags should also be hoisted. When the case of stopping Urs is pending in Agra Court, then how can the Archeology Department organize any religious program inside the Taj Mahal.
When the Supreme Court has directed that no religious event can be held inside the Taj Mahal, then on whose orders is Urs being organized? On these questions, All India Hindu Mahasabha demonstrated and submitted a memorandum and reiterated its opposition to Shahjahan Urs inside the Taj Mahal.
