Ahmedabad bulldozer news: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) bulldozer in Chandola area of Gujarat once again thundered against illegal encroachment on Tuesday. Under the anti -encroachment campaign of AMC, there is a plan to remove illegal encroachment from an area of more than 2.5 lakh square meters in the second phase of action. More than 3000 police personnel have been deployed on the spot on the spot to make anti -encroachment action peaceful and without obstruction. Apart from this, 25 SRP teams have also been deployed on the spot.
A high -level meeting was held on Monday to review the second phase preparations to remove illegal encroachment from Chandola area. Top AMC officer and Police Commissioner GS Malik was present in the meeting. Explain that after removing encroachment from 1.5 lakh square meters of land during the first phase, the Ahmedabad Nagaran Nigam had decided to free the 2.5 lakh square meter area from the occupation of the encroachers in the second phase of action.

Encroachment was removed from area of 1.5 lakh square meters in the first phase- Sharad Singhal
Joint Police Commissioner Crime Sharad Singhal said, “In the first phase, the illegal encroachment was cleaned by the corporation to about 1.5 lakh square meters. Proper arrangements were made to maintain law and order during the first phase of action against encroachment. The second phase will start from today. Adequate police force has been deployed in the area. Senior officials are present on the spot and the public is also supporting us.”
