All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur has issued official notifications for recruitment to the posts of Faculty Group-A. This opportunity is for all eligible candidates who want to take their career to a height in prestigious medical institutions in India. A total of 88 posts will be filled through this recruitment and the application process has started through online. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website till 26 October 2025.
Candidates applying for faculty posts in AIIMS Gorakhpur should have MH (Trauma Surgery), MD (Emergency Medicine), MD (Transfusion Medicine) or MD (Blood Bank) degree from recognized institute. In addition, candidates are mandatory to fulfill the experience and other qualifications prescribed in the respective field. This ensures that the highest level of education and medical services can be provided in the institute.
How many will get salary
The selected candidate to the post of Professor will get Rs 1,68,900 to Rs 2,20,400 per month. At the same time, the additional professor will be provided a salary of Rs 1,48,200 to Rs 2,11,400 per month, Associate Professor Rs 1,38,300 to Rs 2,09,200 per month and Assistant Professor will be given salary of Rs 1,01,500 to Rs 1,67,400 per month. Along with this, according to government rules, house rent allowance, transport allowance and other allowances will also be available, which will improve the total income and lifestyle of the candidate.
Age limit and discount
The maximum age limit for these posts has been kept at 50 to 56 years. However, special class candidates will be exempted. SC and ST candidates will be given 5 years, OBC candidates will be given 3 years and Divyang candidates will be given a discount. This rule ensures that eligible candidates of all classes get opportunities and the recruitment process remains fair.
Application fees
During the application process, candidates will also have to pay fees. The application fee for general, OBC and EWS candidates has been kept at Rs 2,000, while only Rs 500 has been fixed for SC and ST candidates.
