In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, UP State President of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM Shaukat Ali has raised concerns about population. Addressing a public meeting, he said, “From today we will give a slogan, Hum do hamare do dozen. We have 8 children, our elder brother has 16 children. Our mother is 97 years old, at least 72 of her grandchildren are young.”
AIMIM leader said why is there panic due to our numbers? Those who do not marry are the same people who are giving the advice that Hindu brothers should have 4 children. We say that Hindu brothers, produce 14 children, not 4. So that the country becomes stronger.
Targeted at SP leader Kamal Akhtar
Shaukat Ali said on SP leader and former cabinet minister Kamal Akhtar, “I am a Muslim. The person accusing me is also a Muslim. The person running a liquor shop in Moradabad tells me that I am the B team of BJP. Whose ownership was the Ghazal bar where liquor was being sold? The one which was locked by the Municipal Corporation. Did it belong to any MLA?”
Shaukat Ali said that the government also prevents us from giving religious education to children. Several hundred madrassas were closed in Moradabad. Our madrassas are called dens of terrorism. Our beards and caps, our girls’ niqab and hijab are pulled. In the name of meat, 200 Muslims have been mob lynched since 2014. Till now Hindu organizations used to do this, now their women have also started misbehaving with our women.
Claims to contest elections on 200 seats in UP
AIMIM leader said that we are preparing to contest elections on 200 seats. 403 seats are in Uttar Pradesh. We are leaving 203 seats for Akhilesh Yadav, so that he can defeat BJP in the elections on 203 seats. We are going to contest elections on 200 seats. We will stop BJP on those seats.
UP Women Commission member Babita Singh’s statement on gyms and boutiques being dens of love jihad, she said, “There is no love jihad, but Muslim girls are forcefully converted into Hindus. When they fall in love, will you be able to stop it? The constitution of our country allows it, right? Those who are saying these things, they are trying to create another big gap between Hindus and Muslims. They want to create a civil war in the country.
