Health benefits of air fryer: Snacks and fried things have been an important part of our diet. From samosas, pakoras to chicken wings, the craze of fried food never reduced. Experts believe that air-fring is better, but it also has some limits.

Why is air-fring considered healthy?

According to Bangalore-based neutritionist Dr. Anupama Menon, the biggest feature of air-fringing is less use of oil in it. The air-frit cooks with hot air circulation. In this, food does not have to be immersed in oil, due to which the amount of fat can be reduced by 70 to 80 percent. Low oil also reduces the risk of low calorie and cholesterol. This is the reason that air-fringing is considered beneficial for those who control weight and people with heart disease risk.

But is this completely perfect?

Dr. Anupam Goyal, a cardiologist of Safdarjung Enclave, says that just changing the way does not make the food healthy. If you are putting frozen snacks or processed foods in the air-frit, which contain more salt, preservatives and refined carbs, then the disadvantages will remain the same. Some research also suggests that air-fringing on too much temperature can also make harmful compounds like acrylamide. However, it contains lower amounts than deep-fringing.

When deep-fring can also be beneficial?

This will give you better nutrition along with less oil. Overall, the air-fring is more healthy than deep-fringing, but it also has limitations.
