Air India flight bomb threat: A flight coming from Mumbai to Delhi was stirred up when a crew member found a tissue paper in the cabin, on which the bomb was threatened. According to the information, the crew member of flight number 2954 saw a message on the tissue paper that wrote that “Air India 2948 @ T3 has a bomb”. On receiving this information, security agencies were immediately alerted. The Delhi Fire Department received a call at 4:42 am, after which security check was started. Bomb squads and other security agencies conducted a search operation and after investigation, the call was called ‘Hawks’ i.e. false information.
Air India statement
After receiving information about the bomb threat, Air India issued a statement saying- “A non-specific security warning was detected on one of our aircraft. Standard safety procedures were duly completed and the aircraft has been approved for the next flight. Air India gives the security of its passengers and crew the top priority to the safety.”
Recently another flight was threatened
On June 13, Emergency landing of Air India flight AI-379 was made at Phuket International Airport in Thailand. This flight was coming to Delhi from Phuket. Its emergency landing was made after the flight threatened to be a bomb. The Airport Administration immediately took action and implemented the Airport Convention Plan (ACP). There were 156 passengers in the flight.
