The increasing demand for mangoes has made it one of the most special seasonal cargo of Air India. In cities like Toronto, San Francisco, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Sydney, these sweet mangoes have tasted people’s summer taste of India’s summer.
Air India is connecting the common farmers of villages of India to the world. Air India is delivering popular varieties like Hapus (Alphonso) and Safeta and Dussehri in Uttar Pradesh to 31 countries and 5 continents. 75% of these common come from Western India.

Maintaining fresh mangoes safe and fresh even in long journey is not an easy task. For this, Air India uses special temperature-controlled facilities. The mangoes are kept in thermal blankets and cool dolly at the airport so that they reach their destination with freshness.
Air India’s Head of Cargo Ramesh Mamidala said, “We handle the mangoes equally caution and accuracy, such as a precious glass items. It is not just a fruit delivery, but a beautiful story from the fields of India to the world markets.”
