Ahmedabad plane crash: Aircraft of Air India fell victim to an accident in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Thursday afternoon. The aircraft was going to London from Ahmedabad. In this context, the helpline number has been released by Air India.
According to the information given by Air India, passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 has been started. On the social media site X, Air India said that the injured are being taken to the nearest hospitals.
It was told that 242 passengers and crew members were riding in the Boeing 787-8 aircraft in this flight, which left Ahmedabad at 1.38 pm. Of these, 169 are Indian citizens, 53 British citizens, 1 Canadian citizen and 7 Portuguese citizens.

On this accident, a senior police officer in Ahmedabad said, “Initially we came to know that Air India aircraft going to London has crashed in a hostel of doctors. Police and other agencies reached the spot within 2-3 minutes. About 70-80% of the area has been cleaned. All agencies are working here. The work of saving people is going on. 70 percent area has been cleaned. The area is being made a green corridor. The building on which the plyt going to London of Air India has fallen is a hostel of doctors.
