Along with the harsh winter in Uttar Pradesh, the level of air pollution has now reached dangerous levels. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average AQI of the state has been recorded at 171, which is very harmful for health. Not only this, the worst situation is in Ghaziabad and Noida adjacent to Delhi. Here AQI is continuously between 300 to 400. The main reason for the spoiled air is PM2.5 and PM10 particles which have made the air completely poisonous.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the very slow speed of the wind, the polluted particles are not able to flow, due to which this situation is being created. On the other hand, there will be fog and mist conditions in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning. While the temperature continues to drop, the minimum temperature is expected to be 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees.

Most of the cities of the state are currently in the grip of severe air pollution. At many places it is moderate and normal and at some places it is also hazardous. AQI 190 was recorded in the capital Lucknow which is harmful for health. Apart from this, 256 in Kanpur, 200 in Agra, 180 in Varanasi, 250 in Noida, 230 in Ghaziabad and Noida is also beyond 300. In view of this situation, there is a demand to stop the factors causing pollution.

Temperature and weather clear till today

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of the state is completely clear on Sunday. The minimum temperature is expected to be two degrees below 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius. There is no possibility of rain. There will be effect of fog and mist in the morning due to which visibility will also be affected.

The weather is expected to remain around this for the next one week. After that the cold will increase further with sheet wave. Due to increase in wind speed, relief from pollution is also expected.
