India’s Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) has recently issued some new instructions for the country’s telecom operators under which companies will also have to provide plans without data to customers. That is, plans that have only calling, or SMS facilities. Airtel has launched its new plans which come with only calling and SMS facility.

In fact, TRAI has instructed telecom companies to release special tariff vouchers which will give only the benefits of voice and SMS to a particular section of users. These tariff vouchers will be beneficial for users who use the Internet less or do not use it at all. Such users may include senior citizens, and people living in rural areas of the country or far-flung areas.

Airtel has become the first company in India to introduce such plans for its users. That is, the company has introduced special plans with voice and SMS facilities which have not been included in data benefits. Let’s know which are these plans

Airtel Rs 509 plan

In the plan of Rs 509, the company provides unlimited locations and roaming calls. In this, the user gets 900 SMS. The validity of the plan is 84 days. If you want data along with such a plan, then the company also offers a plan of Rs 569 for it in which 6GB of data is given to the user. Other benefits remain the same.

Airtel Rs 1999 plan

In the Rs 1999 plan, the company gives the benefit of unlimited local and roaming calls. 3600 SMS is available in the plan. The validity of the plan is 365 days. If you want a data benefit with such a plan, then the company offers a plan of Rs 2249 in which the user gets 24GB of data. After the SMS quota is finished, there will be a fee of Rs 1 per SMS for local and Rs 1.5 for SMS.
