Sainik School Society has released the application forms for admission to classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools across the country. How is the entrance exam of Sainik School?
All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) is an objective type exam, in which MCQ based questions are asked. This exam is conducted in paper mode, in which students are given OMR sheets to fill. Class 6 exam is of total 300 marks, for which time is 150 minutes and it is conducted in 13 different languages. It includes all types of questions from maths to intelligence. Whereas the time given for class 9 exam is only 180 minutes.
Information about fees and necessary documents
The fees for the entrance exam of Sainik School is different for all categories. While for General, OBC, Defense and Ex-Servicemen this fee is Rs 850, while for SC/ST this fee is only Rs 700. Also, for registration, it is necessary to have recent passport size photo, scanned copy of signature, domicile certificate, birth certificate, ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN card), medical fitness certificate, category certificate and certificate of children of armed forces personnel (if required), all these documents.

1. First of all go to the official website of NTA nta.nic.in and click on Sainik School section.
2. Now click on Registration for AISSEE 2026 Examination on the homepage.
3. Now log into your account and if you are a new user then do a new registration.
4. After this fill your registration form and upload the required documents.
5. In the next step, deposit the fees and click on submit.
6. In this way your registration for Sainik School Entrance Exam will be done easily.
