S-400 air defense system: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is likely to visit Russia next week. He will talk to the government about the delivery of air defense system S400 there. 2 air defense system is yet to be delivered.
According to The Economic Times report, during Ajit Doval’s visit to Moscow, India will also order a new air defense system and there is a possibility of negotiating many issues with the Russian government. Before Ajit Doval’s visit, Indian MPs will start Moscow’s visit from Thursday, under which MP will inform the Russian government about Pakistan’s attitude to support terrorism.
Doval’s visit to Moscow after Operation Sindoor
Doval’s visit to Moscow is going to take place after the air strike in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor by India. The BrahMos missile played a big role in the air strike at terrorist bases in Pakistan. Apart from this, the joint venture of India and Russia and the S-400 system played an important role. During the struggle with Pakistan, some other Russia’s defense systems also came in handy.

According to sources, amidst tension with Pakistan, India wants a strong political relationship with Russia to compete with the Pakistani terror structure keeping in mind the strong security and strategic partnership of India-Russia. Russia is not only included in P-5, but also an important eurasian power. India-Russia partnership has often balanced other major powers in Eurasia. Moscow is one of India’s closest anti -terrorism partners for several decades.
A meeting is to be held in Russia’s capital Moscow from 27 to 29 May, which is being organized by the Security Council of Russia. Ajit Doval is expected to attend this meeting.
