The political stir in Maharashtra has intensified due to BMC elections. Meanwhile, the state deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar has given a big statement to the state’s political mercury. On the question of contesting elections with Mahayuti, he has clearly stated that in view of the situation and demand in the upcoming municipal elections, it will take a decision on it.

Speaking to the media in Pune, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said, “We had contested the assembly and Lok Sabha elections with Mahayuti, but we will decide by looking at the situation and demand for the upcoming municipal elections.”

BMC election will fight together Mahayuti’s constituents?

On the other hand, the leaders of Shiv Sena of Mahayuti’s constituent BJP and Shinde faction have been saying that all will contest BMC elections together. In August last month, BJP leader Sanjay Upadhyay from Maharashtra claimed that Mayor would be of Mahayuti in BMC.

What did Eknath Shinde say about BMC elections?

Maharashtra Deputy CM and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde also claimed last month that the parties involved in Mahayuti together would contest the local body. Shinde also expressed confidence of victory in this election. The dates have not been announced yet for the Bahrala BMC elections, but not only Mumbai but the country’s eyes are fixed on it.
