Up news: The stirring of the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh politics has intensified now. In this episode, hundreds of people of the Chauhan Samaj at the Samajwadi Party headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday pledged to make Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister again. This delegation conference was held in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Auditorium under the leadership of senior SP leader Mahendra Chauhan.
On this occasion, Samajwadi Party national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav while addressing the Chauhan society said that “Seeing your passion, attachment and energy, it is believed that the Samajwadi Party government will be formed in Uttar Pradesh in 2027.” He further said that “our suffering is the same, and our goal is also one.”
Akhilesh Yadav said that the election of 2027 is not just to change the government, but to decide the future of generations to come. He attacked the BJP, saying that “BJP does politics of conspiracy, but now the PDA i.e. backward, Dalit and minority society will be excluded from power with the strength of the society.”
The former Chief Minister also targeted the current government on issues like inflation, corruption, unemployment, women insecurity and ignoring farmers. He said that “Hospitals are not getting treatment, youth are roaming unemployed and women are feeling insecure. Why does the BJP, which talks about One Nation, Forest Election itself, does not conduct all elections together in Uttar Pradesh?”
Mahendra Chauhan alleged that the people of Chauhan society are being tortured and neglected in the BJP government. He said that “We were humiliated, the people of our society were murdered and justice could not be found. Only Samajwadi Party can give us respect.” At the conference, the leaders of the Chauhan Samaj, in unison, expressed confidence in the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav and gave the slogan, “In honor of Akhilesh Yadav, in the Chauhan Samaj Maidan.”
It is worth noting that the Chauhan society is included in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and has a good population in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, this exercise of Samajwadi Party is being considered a strategy to organize OBC vote bank in the upcoming assembly elections. Many prominent leaders of Chauhan Samaj who came from the state and various districts were present in this conference. Everyone united and resolved to win the Samajwadi Party in 2027.
