Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has made a big attack on the Yogi government in the cough syrup issue. He said that the government is running the program of ‘One District One Mafia’ in the state. This is a scam worth thousands of crores. Enumerating the works of his government, the SP President said that BJP is taking the economy of Purvanchal backward.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav was returning from the house of late MLA Sudhakar Singh on Tuesday. During this, he reached the residence of former minister Chandradev Ram Yadav Karaili located in Sathiyanv, Azamgarh. Where he said that this area has always been giving opportunities to socialists, but the development work has come to a standstill under the present government.
Akhilesh Yadav took aim
During the SP government, Sathiyaanv Sugar Mill was built in record time, which was one of the most modern mills in the state. Had it expanded, the production of ethanol, electricity, fertilizer and bio-fertilizer would have provided employment to thousands of people and strengthened the local economy, but due to the government’s indifference, all the projects came to a standstill.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the Samajwadi government had built the Purvanchal Expressway with the aim of connecting it with the rural economy, providing facilities to weavers, setting up industries and providing cheap electricity, but the quality work that should have been done was not done. The government is involved in corruption and is getting shoddy work done through contractors.
Allegation of harassing in the name of SIR
Attacking BJP, Akhilesh Yadav said that the central government has been entangling the public in demonetization, GST and Covid. Now people are being harassed in the name of SIR. Not accepting Aadhaar as an identity proof shows the dubious policy of the government. He said that the rights given by the creator of the Constitution, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar are also being threatened.
Cough syrup issue also targeted
Referring to the big corruption related to medicines and cough syrup, he said that BJP is working on One District One Mafia. Many big scams are coming to light under this policy, in which strict action should be taken against the culprits.
Akhilesh Yadav accused leaders like Azam Khan, Gayatri Prajapati and Ramakant Yadav of harassing him by filing false cases. He said that through Sarathi app, like North Korea, the government is interfering in people’s privacy in the name of surveillance and creating tension in the society.
