Akshay Kumar has expressed condolence on the demise of Asrani. He wrote- I am very saddened by the departure of Asrani ji. Some time ago we hugged each other on the sets of the film Shoot Haiwaan. He was a very sweet person. He had amazing comic timing. All my cult films from Hera Pheri to Bhagam Bhag to De Dana Dan, Welcome and the yet to be released Bhoot Bangla and Haiwaan…I have worked and learned a lot. What a big loss for our country. Asrani Sir may God bless you. You have made millions and crores of people laugh. Om Shanti.
