Pensioners Life Certificate News: An important information has been given by the Pensioners Welfare Department of the Government of India. If you are also a pensioner, that is, you get pension from the government, then this information is for you. The Pension Department will run the fourth nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign across the country between November 1 and 30, 2025. The objective of which is to reach out to every pensioner, so that they do not face any kind of problem or obstacle in getting their pension.
How to submit Digital Life Certificate?
To do this work, the help of Pension Distribution Bank, India Post Payments Bank, Pensioners Welfare Association, Railways, Department of Telecommunications, UIDAI and Ministry of Electronics is being taken by the government. For this, special camps will be organized in the concerned banks and post offices. Where pensioners can get their DLC made. Also, for sick and old age pensioners, this facility will also be provided at their home or hospital.
Pensioners can submit DLC online on the Life Certificate portal. Along with this, you can also submit your DLC with the help of postal service and doorstep banking service. However, to make Digital Life Certificate, you must have Aadhaar or Virtual ID.
What is the DLC submission date?
According to the information given by the Pension Department, all pensioners will have to submit their digital life proof between 1st and 30th November. Elderly pensioners above 80 years of age can submit their DLC from October 1 itself. Half of the month of October has passed. In such a situation, all the pensioners should submit their DLC on time so that they do not face any kind of problem.
What is Digital Life Certificate?
Digital Life Certificate is a biometric and Aadhaar linked certificate. Pensioners receiving pension have to submit this certificate to the concerned department every year. This certificate contains information related to the pensioner. Such as their Aadhaar number, name, mobile number and PPO number. This certificate is proof that the pensioner is still alive and his pension can still be continued.
