More than 65 thousand people were arrested after the protest. Police beat thousands of people. Apart from this, independent media outlets and NGOs were also closed and even the ban was imposed. At the same time, after this step, Luxhanko was criticized by Western countries and had imposed many restrictions on Belarus.
