India Pakistan Ceasefire: During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army defeated the army of Aseem Munir tremendously. Desperate Pakistan requested India to ceasefire and India accepted this request. Repeating the central government’s attitude, JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said that the ceasefire was completely bilateral and it was initiated by Pakistan. He said, “If I tell you especially, the Pakistani DGMO tried for a ceasefire in the morning but there was a problem in the hotline. Because some people ask how this ceasefire was done, then I tell that after this I tell the people of Pakistan Embassy in India contacted the Indian people and told that they are trying to contact the DGMO of India but they are not talking about it.”

‘Whatever we wanted to do’

He further says, “After this the message came that we will talk after one and a half o’clock. Then the DGMO of India talked to him. He requested for the ceasefire and this happened at 3:35 pm. After this, India agreed to the ceasefire because India is not in favor of war. We wanted to give the message that we wanted to demolish their terrorist bases and we showed this.”

It is also important to know here that Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between India and Pakistan on May 10 at 5.25 pm, which took place about two hours after Jha’s claim of talks between the two countries. After this, India and Pakistan confirmed the ceasefire.
