Shiv sena ubt mns alliance: There is speculation between Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, BJP’s internal survey claimed that this alliance will not affect the BJP’s electoral possibilities. According to news agency PTI, a BJP leader has claimed this.

The BJP has started preparations for the elections of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation as well as Pune and Thane and other major municipal bodies. In view of the election in Mumbai, the BJP conducted a detailed survey to evaluate its impact amidst the speculation of the alliance between Uddhav Thackeray-Raj Thackeray.

The BJP official said on Wednesday (June 4), “The survey indicates that the BJP will maintain a strong position in Mumbai due to three major factors. There are three major factors- the confidence of his traditional voter Aadhaar, the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the party’s strong performance in the last state assembly elections. ‘

Why Uddhav Thackeray’s base decreased?
He said, “Even in traditional Marathi voter base areas, BJP’s support is stable. The survey shows that the alliance between the Thackeray brothers will not affect the party’s seat number. ”

The survey claimed that after partition of Shiv Sena in 2022, Uddhav Thackeray’s influence in Mumbai has decreased, about half of the party’s corporator Eknath Shinde has joined the group. He said that in the meantime, the influence of Raj Thackeray is considered to be limited.

How many seats will BJP fight?
The official said that if the BJP contests 150 seats (out of 227) in the BMC elections, it will benefit. The officer said that the preparations of the party are going on accordingly.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, MNS supported BJP in Maharashtra, but after six months, both parties fought the assembly elections separately. After this, there was speculation between cousins Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray to come together in the past.

Both leaders can also ignore issues with some differences. Recently, the MNS chief had said that it is not difficult to unite in the interests of Marathi Manus (Marathi speaking people). After this, Uddhav Thackeray had said that he is ready to keep a minor quarrel separate, provided that he should not go with those working against the interests of Maharashtra.
