Actor accused of sexual misconduct: Many Bollywood actors have been accused of casting couch and sexual harassment. One of these names is also of veteran actor Alok Nath, who was made serious allegations during the Meetu movement. At the same time, his co-star also made some shocking revelations about him.
Alok Nath worked in films like Salman Khan’s film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Vivah’. Actor was also seen in the TV serial ‘Sapna Babul Ka … Bidai’ in which she played the role of Sara Khan’s father. Alok, who earned fame with his acting, was very disgraceful when film maker Vinda Nanda accused him of rape.
Actresses had made serious allegations on Alok Nath
Vinda Nanda had also accused Alok Nath of misbehaving with many women during the Me to Movement in 2018 through a Facebook post. The Mumbai Police then registered a case of rape against the actor. Two more actresses (Navneet Nishan and Sandhya Mridul) also made similar allegations on Alok. However, the actor had filed a defamation suit to dismiss all the allegations. He had also demanded apologies to the accused and a compensation of one rupee.
‘They are cultured until they drink alcohol’
Once Himani Shivpuri also made shocking revelations about Alok Nath. Himani worked with Alok in the film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’. The actress had told in a podcast with Siddharth Kanan that Alok Nath changes completely after drinking alcohol. Himani had said- ‘I have done a lot of work with him before and the biggest thing with him is that he is a cultured until he drinks alcohol. His personality was like Job and Hyde.
Actor was taken off the plane due to behavior
‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ actress further told about Alok Nath- ‘I never had any problem with her, except for an incident in the National School of Drama (NSD). But I used to hear from people that after drinking some alcohol, they became a separate person. Due to his behavior, he has been removed from the plane once before. On the set, he was very calm and professional, but as soon as it used to be 8 o’clock in the clock, he used to turn into a separate human being.
