Amazing feat in SIR’s new list! Name of entire family of Congress leader of Uttar Pradesh missing, created uproar

The final list regarding SIR has been released in Uttar Pradesh. As soon as it arrived, there was an uproar. Names of about 3 crore voters have been deleted from this list. Now in such a situation, the Congress leader has alleged that the name of his entire family is missing in this list. With the help of social media posts, he has raised many questions on the process of SIR.

What is the whole matter?
The final list of SIR was released in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. In this, names of 2 crore 89 lakh voters have been deleted. The names of Congress leader and admin head Gurdeep Singh Sappal and his family are missing in this list. Gurdeep Sappal has had a special conversation with ABP News on this matter.

‘Targeted because he was a Congressman’

Regarding this, he has said that he has been targeted for being a Congressman. The entire family’s name has been struck off. The Election Commission is working on the instructions of the Modi government. Congress will come to the ground to re-join those whose names have been removed from the party. The job of Modi government is to make everyone fall in line.

He said that I will fill Form 6. Our names were included in the voters of 2003. Our names were also included in the voter list of the last elections. The names of our parents were also included in the voter list of 2003. We had also submitted the necessary documents as per the rules of the Election Commission. We have everything – passport, birth certificate, Aadhaar, bank account, property papers, 10th class certificate.

He said, ‘I myself was the Vice President of India and also a Joint Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. Also, I am a member of CWC, the highest committee of Congress. Not only this, I have also been a part of the Congress delegation in the Election Commission many times on SIR and other issues. All BLOs also know this. But still our names were cut from the draft list.

What is the reason behind cutting the name?
Gurdeep Singh Sappal has claimed in a post on social media, ‘We had shifted our house from Sahibabad Assembly of Uttar Pradesh to Noida Assembly. We were told that there is no provision to retain the names of shifted voters in SIR. Meaning, if a voter has changed his residence to a new area, his name has been struck off. There are crores of voters like me. I will probably still fill the new Form 6 and get my family name added, but how many people will be able to do so? This is the truth SIR!
