He said, ‘I myself was the Vice President of India and also a Joint Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. Also, I am a member of CWC, the highest committee of Congress. What is the reason behind cutting the name?
Gurdeep Singh Sappal has claimed in a post on social media, ‘We had shifted our house from Sahibabad Assembly of Uttar Pradesh to Noida Assembly. We were told that there is no provision to retain the names of shifted voters in SIR. Meaning, if a voter has changed his residence to a new area, his name has been struck off. There are crores of voters like me. I will probably still fill the new Form 6 and get my family name added, but how many people will be able to do so? This is the truth SIR!
