China has responded to America’s allegations that Beijing has secretly conducted nuclear tests. China described America’s allegations as false and accused Washington of looking for excuses to conduct nuclear tests. China asked America to immediately stop its irresponsible actions. US President Donald Trump had said in October 2025 that Washington would start testing nuclear weapons on an equal basis with China and Russia. Trump wants to include China in any future nuclear treaty.
America wants to set new limits on nuclear weapons
Thomas Dinano’s statement came at a time when he was presenting a new US plan, which called for trilateral talks with Russia and China to set new limits on nuclear weapons. This plan has been made after the end of the New Start Treaty between America and Russia.
