In view of the severe and historic winter storm in America, Air India has canceled all its flights to and from New York and Newark, New Jersey for January 25 and January 26. The airline says that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of passengers and crew members.
Air India has issued a travel advisory saying that there is a possibility of heavy snowfall and severe cold in America’s East Coast, especially New York, New Jersey and surrounding areas from Sunday (January 25) morning to Monday (January 26). During this period, flight operations may be seriously affected.

All passengers have been advised to stay in touch with Air India’s official website and customer support for every small and big information related to their flight.
What did the National Weather Service say?

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a warning saying that this storm can affect crores of people from the Central Plains to the North-East. Weather experts have also appealed to people to travel only when absolutely necessary and keep an eye on official weather updates. Apart from Air India, many international airlines have also canceled flight operations to the affected areas of America.
