The US attacked three nuclear bases of Iran, Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan in the early hours of Sunday (22 June 2025). Donald Trump claimed that Iran’s atomic hideouts were completely destroyed. Meanwhile, the Defense Department of the US said that the operation on which Iran was attacked has been named Midnight Hammer.
The US Department of Defense said, “On the orders of President Donald Trump, the US attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran. We destroyed the Iranian nuclear program. Midnight Hammer Operation was not targeted by its people or army.” Along with this, warning that if Iran thinks of any retaliation against America, it will be given a strong reply.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, “The planning that President Trump had done was bold and fantastic. The world saw the power of America. When President Trump speaks, the world should listen to the world. No other country on earth could carry out this operation. When the President calls for a conversation 60 days, it means that it does not mean the old government. It is not the administration of the old government. The President Trump does not want peace and Iran should adopt the path.”
Pete Hegseth said, “On the orders of President Trump, the US Central Command accurately attacked the three nuclear bases of Iran, Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan. The order we got from our commander these chief was clear that we have to destroy the Iranian nuclear program. It did not target the Iranian soldiers or Iranian people.”
