There was an outcry on Banda-Tanda National Highway near Nigoha village under Fursatganj police station area of Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening when two bikes went out of control and collided with a parked truck from behind. In which 7 people were seriously injured. Of these, three including a girl died while being taken to the hospital, while four are still injured. There is chaos among the family members.
Local people and police reached the spot and started relief and rescue. Police officials said that the bodies are being sent for post-mortem, while the entire accident is being investigated. After the accident, people have expressed displeasure over vehicles standing like this on the highway.
Two bikes collided with a parked truck from behind
According to the information received, two bikes collided behind a truck number UP 36T 1485 parked on the roadside loaded with cement. It is being told that a total of seven people were riding on two bikes going from Jais towards Rae Bareli. Three people were sitting on one bike while four people including a child were riding on the other bike. It is being told that while trying to avoid the speeding vehicle coming from the front, both the bike riders lost control and collided with the truck parked on the roadside from behind. At the time of the incident, both the bikes were running together on the road, due to which all seven people were seriously injured.
Three were declared dead on reaching the hospital
On the information of local people, all the injured were taken to Community Health Center Fursatganj with the help of ambulance. Where doctors declared Disha (6), daughter of Atul, resident of Indu’s village, Gandhinagar police station, Jais, Atul (38), son of Vinod Kumar, resident of Indu’s village, Gandhinagar police station, and Hiralal (45), son of Satidin, resident of Faridpur Parwar police station, Jais, declared dead.

Injured in the accident were Rani (30), wife of Atul, resident of Indu’s village, Gandhinagar police station, Shivani (18), daughter of Satyanarayan, resident of Odari Chauraha police station, and Pallavi (16), daughter of Hiralal, resident of Faridpur Parwar police station. When the condition of Jais became critical, they were referred to the district hospital, Rae Bareli. Whereas Mahi (12), daughter of Jeevanlal, resident of Sandiram police station, Mill area, district Rae Bareli, is being treated in CHC Fursatganj.
All the deceased and injured are relatives.
Satyanarayan, father of injured Shivani, who reached the spot, said that all the people involved in the accident are relatives. He told that his daughter had come to her maternal home in Odari Chauraha and she was going back to her in-laws house with her family. During this time this accident happened on the way. His granddaughter Mahi was also injured in the incident. All three deceased and four injured are related to the same family and relatives. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the family members reached the spot and there was chaos in the family.
Police reached the spot, investigation started
As soon as information about the incident was received, Fursatganj police station reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. Inspector in-charge Nandhausila Yadav said that three people including a girl have died in the accident, while four people are injured. As soon as information about the incident was received, Tiloi Police Officer Dinesh Kumar Mishra also reached the spot. He said that the police have taken possession of the truck and started investigating the matter. Traffic on the road has been restored by removing the accident vehicles. The police is busy filling the panchayatnama of the dead bodies and preparing for post-mortem.
